Time to hit the road again to see if we can play the songs from CONTROLLER live (and to see how well everyone has learned the words). We don’t travel anywhere by van anymore so I thought i’d post this photo as a meditation on how far we’ve come. I sort of miss it. Nic doesn’t miss it.

CONTROLLER came out on Friday and thank god. It’s been a long time in the making and i’ve only listened to it once but I can hear three years worth of joy, misery, girls laughter and cheap tequila bleeding through the meticulously carved out notes and slap-dash-quickly-done-record-the-fucking-thing notes. Anyway the response so far has been good and we’ve been having all sorts of adventures promoting it (see above- i call this photo ‘what the bloody hell am i doing here’) and there’s a certain feeling in the air. Anyway my point is this: Go out and buy the fucking thing.
